I am a ROCK STAR!

Yeah, that's right...in case you didn't know it...know it now...I ROCK!

Ok, well maybe I'm taking it a bit too far, but after VERY fast weight gain during months 3 through 5 of this pregnancy I'm happy to report that I went to the doctor yesterday and most importantly: the baby is doing fine...but running a very close second in importance...I DIDN'T GAIN ANY WEIGHT THIS MONTH!!!! In fact, I lost a pound! Now I know you're not supposed to "lose weight" while pregnant, but one pound won't hurt...plus I wasn't trying to lose, so don't go calling children's services on me, ok?

My uterus is measuring 24 centimeters which is right on target (about the circumference of a soccer ball) and the heartbeat and my blood pressure are both fine. I was literally in and out of there in like 25 minutes. I met another new doctor (the last in the group) and he was pretty cool, but another fast talker/in a rush type guy and I really hate that. But, he would be fun to have in the delivery room because he's just a cool dude. As for the rest of the doctors in the practice, they're o.k....I still feel like a bit of just a number with the doctors, but the nurses are warm and wonderful each visit, so it kind-of makes up for it. I can't complain too much, my questions are always answered but it just isn't the long conversations I used to have with my AWESOME doctor in Toledo. Oh well, they can't all be like that.
