This morning, I had an odd feeling in my tummy when in the shower. I guess it felt like a minor cramp. I had lifted a small terra cotta pot yesterday, so I was concerned that I lifted too much. I'm sure now that that wasn't the case. When I got into the office this morning and was checking my e-mail, I thought my cell phone in my jacket pouch pocket (which sits right over my stomach) was ringing on vibrate. Then I noticed that my phone was on my desk. The strange feeling lasted on and off for about a half an hour, and then just went away. Naturally, I looked this up online, because I know it's way too early to actually feel a kick. The baby's bone structure is just cartilage and his or her little muscles haven't even formed and the fetus is only about an inch, so it's impossible to feel movement from something that small. But, with all of that said, I know my body and I know what I felt wasn't something I'd ever felt before, so I'm chalking it up to a flutter from our little growing friend.
