So, the baby is apparently a fan of my favorite composer, Gustav Mahler. This morning at work I called up Mahler's first symphony on youtube and put the headphones on my belly. She started kicking immediately! I was surprised because she had been quite active since 10 last night which is yes, when I woke up...never got back to sleep either.
The good news about the sleep is that I have a free morning so I'm going to sleep until noon. Can't wait! Then, our little miss has some important visitors this weekend. BOTH sets of grandparents are coming to see her, so maybe that's why she's so active...she's excited! Also, my dear friend Sue is having a shower for us on Sunday, so we're all jazzed up!
As a result of the weekend festivities, I won't be posting for the weekend, so have a nice one!
